Corporate mindset , no growth its a bad investment , dont worry about the product, sustainability, customer, etc. Shift the brand off to India and remake the Cucciolo. That would make the shiny asses happy .

I think you may be right. I reckon my 1978 SSD Darmah

( about 1400 worldwide ) is worth more than my 2012 1199S at the moment.

Thanks for posting Mark, Ducati is arguably one of the higher 'prestige' motorcycle brands so I can see the VW Audi group wanting to hold onto it for that reason, but if its not profitable then its not profitable and lets face it, the VW Audi group needs to recoup some cash right now..

so you are running a corporation that is accountable to share holders there is no growth its not a bad investment? im confused by your statement? is vw suppose to buy a company that has 0 returns and keep it? just curious if you started a company and had no growth since you started it would you keep working for free?

Ducati isn’t in the red it made a profit considering it isn’t pumping out 50cc-125cc for the asian market and are a luxury vehicle within a small market did alright. Also spent a shitload on a new warehouse.

Even if it was having massive losses then management should be able to turn it around....steve jobs anyone.

VW got fine $25 Billion money has to come from somewhere.Ducati is smallest thing VW owns and is first thing to go.its very simple.its all about the money. And don't forget Ducati is big spender on MotoGp project and not much result.on other hand maybe time to look for alternative brands like Aprilia it's Italian also.

Hey Mark I've been doing that for a few years now. Next year is always going to be better ? I'm a farmer by the way.
I just get sick of big corps screwing everyone than can, and use the excuse "We act in the best interests of our shareholders"
