Earplugs for motorcycle riding

I really need a pair because I was recently diagnosed with mild tinnitus and mild hyperacusis(noise sensitivity). Was not a fan of off-the-shelf earplugs because I have narrow ear canals that makes wearing a pair painful and uncomfortable.

Do you guys wear earplugs?

Any recommendation or suggestion?

Should I buy custom molded ones?

Thank you in advance!

what surprises me most, when I look at motogp, is that most riders wear this type of plugs
earplugs

I have tried various earplug types (including custom fitted) over many years, until I came across the plugs from Flare Audio Ltd. I can firmly recommend these.

Can vouch for these, 3m plugs have different ratings- check the packet.

I have small ears as well. I've used the Howard Leight Max Lite Low Pressure Disposable Foam Earplugs for years:

I put in a fresh pair every ride and can ride all day with no discomfort.

i don't know how folks ride without them.

I usually get the custom ones at a motorcycle show and buy a couple of pairs at a time.

Well worth the investment

Have just started using a pair of Decibelz. Good concept but just had a weird experience. They were so well sealed that I experienced a serious wave of nausea when on track. I think they sealed TOO well though I am a well known land lubber with zero sea legs.

Bought a box of quality foam ones and will never look back.

I've had the expanding foam style and they work well when they stay in. I didn't like the fit and the fact I would have to keep buying them. So I decided to go the ear doctor "Otolaryngologist" to get some custom ones made. So the fit is perfect no worry of them falling out mid ride distracting me. They are antibacterial and easy to clean.
