Greetings from Norway!

Hello everyone.

I signed up here because I'm thinking (and lusting, drooling, daydreaming) about getting the new V4, and since I don't have any experience with Ducatis I figured I would come here and see what it's all about

I first started out on two wheels about sixteen years ago, on a Suzuki Intruder 125cc. From there I went to a Yamaha FZ6, then a GSX-R 750 K8 and currently a GSX-R 1000 K7, which has been with me for the last three seasons.

Until last year I had never been on a track, but finally got around to it and fell completely in love with it! I did about five trackdays last year and will definitely do a lot more this year, on whichever bike I end up with.

Look forward to reading about your thoughts on the new beast.

If you're within distance of Rudskogen, come join SMC! We're there every thursday, just in case you didn't know Just need a little pre-course at Gardermoen to be allowed there, but that's a one time affair. And it's pretty cheap, 650 NOK for non-members, 450 for members (That's 65/45€ for non NOK users )
OH! And don't forget season kickoff may 1st, same place (Rudskogen)!

Thanks, I am well aware That's my "local" track and where I went last year. I plan on going a lot more this year though. Also want to go to Våler in June! That sounds like a very fun event.

Det er også diskusjoner om ACR, men det avgjøres på årsmøtet 5. April

Sorry about the Norwegian, couldn't find the English word for "årsmøte"

What kind of discussions, if I may ask? I was curious about the noise restrictions at that particular track as I heard it was 90 dB max. How do they enforce this with regards to Ducatis? I can't imagine that there are many that meet those requirements even in stock form. Perhaps this is what is being discussed?

ACR don't have ANY noise restrictions really.. The discussion is if it's financially justified, as the low nummer og participants the last few years means it's been a big expense for SMC. We'll vote over the matter om April 5th...

If I'm in the area, I'm there! Might even be available as a pit idiot if needed
