Track prepping tail section?

Those of you that removed your license plate extension (the mud flap) for the track or to make your own designed tidy tail what did you do with the exposed area after removed? The light weight trim material exposed after the tail is removed shifts around without the tail installed. Probably not a big deal, but I was just curious.

A strip of black duct tape to hold the wires in place and you're good to go
