WSBK 2015 @ Phillip Island

Anyone else going to Phillip Island in few weeks to watch the opening round of the WSBKs?

Got my three day ticket and I'm all set to go.

Fingers crossed for glorious sunshine and fast racing.

We should get a mod to make the title state WSBK 2015 and use this as the official thread. I wish I could flyover and go. One day I will. Hoping to get to Laguna Seca this year.

Good idea. I don't know about Laguna Seca, but the atmosphere at WSBK at PI is so different to that of MotoGP.

I found the WSBK crowd more relaxed, and the people who attended seemed to be more bike orientated as opposed to the MotoGP spectacular, with corporate people, business and families.

Another advantage of WSBK at Phillip Island is the ability to ride your bike to any area around that track and pick your vantage point. MotoGp is bus drop off or a car park miles away.

Riding PI is a bucket list item, that we are lucky to do most days of the year here.

Hopefully you get to do awell

If I do get over there I'll hit you up. If I can win the lottery I'll rent the track out for us and the other Aussie Duc Riders lol.

They run MotoGp and WSBK at Laguna Seca. And good to know the WSBK crowd is more relaxed me and my 8 yr old are huge motorcycle race fans so that would be the best I think.
