Even GOD is a Rossi fan

What a high drama race, I do believe Valentino is destined to win the championship this year, he's getting help from a Higher Power.

I hate to admit it but you might be right! Rossi needs all the help out there hr can get to beat JLO, maybe Pedrosa will step it up and crash Rossi out of a race.

Lorenzo don't impress me. Neither did Stoner, although Stoner was able to ride the Preziosi-designed Ducati. It's one thing to start at pole and finish first, never actually dicing it out with anyone. It's another to have the skill, strategy, technique, and balls to be able to fight your way through a pack and come out on top. That's what separates Rossi and Marquez from the rest of the "fast" riders. You might be fast if you start in front and no one can catch you, but you're FASTER if you start in the middle and end up in front. Make sense?

If Jorge and Stoner don't impress you, then you are surely tough to impress.

Consistency and applied excellence are probably the most difficult things in sports, and JLo is certainly top marks. Listen to the other riders, if he gets in front it is game over. Unless of course it rains, he sure doesn't seem to like the wet.

He should have won that race. Very poor decision cost him that record, oh well he still rode a great race and continued to showcase why hes the master.

Valentino is racing Lorenzo for the championship, and he races on so many levels in a total war kind of way, that you can't second guess his strategy. Vallie is a master of mindgames he knows how to rattle every rider on the grid, especialy his teammate and now as far as Lorenzo is concerned Rossi controls the weather! He accomplished his goal, besides if he won, the joint would have exploded!

I'm a huge Rossi fan always have been
but I'll never understand the weak in the knees fanboy blindness some people have for the guy . he did sort of out ride stoner one time at laguna but overall stoner embarrassed rossi . there were several races stoner out-rode Rossi while on the ducati which was a turn-n-squirt bike not really able to go through the turns as smoothly as the honda or the yamaha.
At laguna Rossi got a higher position (laguna 2008) and rossi beat stoner that year in the championship iirc .
But when Rossi went to the ducati there were very few head to head scraps because Rossi was back in the also ran category and iirc he pulled a complete boner and took Stoner to the gravel proving Rossi is human and in fact cannot ride a "hard to ride bike" as well as stoner could. Stoner went on to embarrass Rossi for two more years after that

around 50% of Stoners wins came from Pole position so I guarantee he passed someone .
Thanks from JonT and jdgun
