Hell of a race, Marco looks like he will be a factor in this series, along with the usual suspects.

Yep Marco looked good wonder if that was a mechanical, a broken brake caliper due to contact or just a crash .

I was equally impressed with Alex Lowes

I love world superbike and it raw racing I hope the new format doesn't cause a turn one pileup tomorrow .

Great race for sure, you could see Chaz thinking about into the hairpin but possibly remembered what happened last year, going for the points, good to see. Actually the MV surprised me a bit as well, a good ride from Camier.

You know Melandri had to be pissed at Lowes for cutting him off causing the crash. Glad to see Chaz be smart and take the points. I knew Leon was going to be a factor. Hopefully we see close racing all season. Great win for Rea.

He seemed to put some blame on Tom Sykes in his post race interview. Racing incident.

I've watched the race 3 times already. Go back and watch MM pass Lowes coming into turn one and they got side by side going into T2 and Lowes cut him off and forced him off track. They were all riding slower than normal and everyone got bunched up. I expect more than him to get taken out. Still a great race and those are the things that happen...
