I don't think thats fair comparison, Pedrosa is like the 'little engine that could' how many times does it get so close to a win / championship title only to end up losing

I saw someone questioned why normal people payout on Rossi. Believe me when I say this, it's not so much Rossi that gives us normal people the shits...It's the fanboi's that harp on and on and on and...you get the picture.

Nobody is interested in the longevity of his career considering he hasn't won a championship since 2009, heck, it was 18 races between wins. Now that's pretty shit in anyone's language when we're talking about the pointy end of the field.

As someone else said, he's been swamped by riders who are younger, fitter, faster than him. He should bow out gracefully...but he wont.

That is called deflection or avoiding a question. I'm not disputing VR has won a lot in the past, I'm disputing the claim from VR fans about JL whining more than Rossi.

JL didn't say others shouldn't fight for position if they're out of championship contention, VR did. JL didn't threaten to leave MotoGP if he didn't get his own special tire, VR did.

Well some people are interested obviously. He has a solid fan base and he is doing a pretty good marketing job for the sport, Yamaha, and the rest of his sponsors. I don't know what you consider the pointy end but he's mostly in the points.

Why should he bow out, because you say so? There is always someone faster and fitter, actually most of the grid should retire if that's the criteria. Your bitterness is destroying your arguments.

Cheers
