The change in RPM limits could be difficult for teams.

It doesn't seem to have affected the Kawasaki too much, 5th or so in the combined test at Jerez.

Cheers

How about deducting points from 1st , 2nd , 3rd based on time gaps from 4th or field average . I think it is a poor move to restrict development .

Why re-invent the wheel? BSB is superb racing excitement. Adopt.

It's never good to keep compensating on paper for something lacking on the track...

I feel Dorna treats WSBK like a step-child.

True, but the issue is the teams/factories with the most money have the best gear and attract the best riders . This makes it really difficult for the raw talent out there to have a chance to get to SBK or Motogp, let alone trying to "even up" the grid . rea is going to hang in there, because the money is good, lifestyle is easy (compared to GP) and he will win again next year.

Seems to me that cutting the revs on the Panigale is going to turn it into a one horse show.
They need to rev the twin to the moon to make power. That was the reason for the big bore short stroke layout,

After just watching the entire 2017 BSB Superbike series on Youtube, I'll say it again WSBK better adopt the BSB format, or watch their fan base fade away. BSB is by far and away the premier Superbike series on the planet.

BSB is incredibly entertaining. I think they don't have near the politics from the manufactures that Dorna has to deal with though.
