I Ride: 2012 Panigale S
Ducati Corse 1199 Engine superstock rebuild kit

I found this on ebay.

Looks like a comprehensive kit for those who are mechanically inclined and race.

Yeah a motor with them parts and put together by the right person will put out close to 228 HP.

I Ride: '16 Pani R, 1098R Bayliss, KTM1090R.
Every 2500km

I would be on my second kit

Seriously though, cylinder heads and crankcases etc every 2500km?
Who are they kidding? No one without factory support is going anywhere
near that service regime, and cheaper for Joe Public to just keep buying
new motors I imagine.

I Ride: 16R; 18 R1M
If y’all remember when MMC blew up his R, the engine would have cost him 25k if I remember right. I think he was around 18k for the build from Boulder Motorsports.
This is to the best of my memory, but he had a thread on this.

.......And still with Plastic water pump gears.

There are a number of items in that kit you wouldnt really need to replace or you would have aftermarket versions (conrods, Valves etc etc)
