I was never a big fan of Lorenzo, but if he starts crushing on this bike I'm going to enjoy watching it.

Early days, but I think we're in for another banger season.

Same here

I want ducati to win, no matter who rides it

Nice lap, for sure; good to see JLo at the sharp end again. Love to watch that dude ride - he is so smoooove...

Some other interesting stuff on the timesheets as well. Jackass is looking like a man reborn on the GP17, with a 10-lap run at 2:00.5 pace give or take a tenth or so, and well as Marquez pounding out 15 in a row at virtually the same pace. Pedrosa's fast as usual at Sepang, and Cal's looking sharp too. Curious that the Yamahas that all looked fast early in the test didn't look so hot at the end, but it's hard to say what their program was. Marquez and Vinales put a ton of laps in, but the factory Ducatis did a lot less; with no long runs, just lots of short exits and returns.

On to Thailand; that ought to be interesting.

This is good for Ducati but still early. I will not support JLo no matter what. Highly dislike him

Cal said during an interview (and that goes for all teams i guess) that they won’t do race simulations (many laps) to not lay out their cards too openly...

Yep, good idea.

It would be as shame if everyone knew which lap he planned to crash on before the race.

Hey, I have mad respect for the "bin it or win it" guys. Plus, his boss is a friend of mine

Sad, but true. I'd like to see him return to the consistency he had when he took the World Superstock championship in 2009.
