the true test for the ducati and the advancement of both the honda and the ducati bikes will be TX. Marc owns that track. if he wins by 8 seconds its the same old same old. if he barely wins or loses there could be a shake up. my money is still on MM.

People tend to forget that Dovi is a 125cc champion. He was always fast, not as fast as Casey, but still fast. We shall see how things play out in Austin, assuming the authorities are able to apprehend the person/persons responsible for all the bombings. I will be there to hopefully witness history. Who can end the MM US rein? Probably no one...

While we’re on the subject of the race, I’ll comment on the broadcasters. I think that Steve Day did a good job for his first race taking over for Nick Harris. But, that guy they had in the pits was horrible. He couldn’t speak a complete sentence, provided little insight, and his interview with the winning riders after the race was terrible: he didn’t set the riders up with a question they could answer and just said a couple of words and expected the riders to fill in the blanks. Very unprepared.

Simon is much better with a bike than he is with a mic.

I'm actually interested to see how some of other riders will do throughout the season. Riders like Miller, Morbidelli, Petrucci and of course Crutchlow, Vinăles, Zarcos are all very close too top contenders. If they are more consistent this year I think they may break up some of Dovi/Marques/Rossi domination. Like someone said earlier, "It's definitely not a 3-rider show anymore!"
Gonna be an AWESOME season!

They need to replace him, can't stand that guy. He didn't even know that Dalla Porta is a season rider (not rookie)

I thought the same. Sometimes it sounded like he forgot words in the middle of his sentence. The guy last year was 100 times better. Great race. And the guy who is too old to be there some think came 3rd. I was very happy to see Dovi win it. And MM so tenacious.

I just watched it again, it was a really good race. It was just as good the second viewing.

Don't be too hard on Simon (the on ground commentator) he'll settle in and he would have amazing contacts in the racing world. It's nice to hear some non rehearsed banter rather than the journalistic approach we are used to.
