Dovi wins an amazing race and no one on here is talking about it yet?? This looks like it will shape up to be a great season. Still got to go with MM93 as the favorite to win it all though.
Thanks from Phl, Thamer, crossdx and 1 others

Yeah, surprised it took this long for a thread to pop up. Was just about to go ahead and make one.

What a race, what a finish!

He did a lot better than I thought he would. It seems like he is always up around the front of the pack but getting the W seems to be a big struggle for him over the past several years.

Pretty soon Honda will bitch about the Ducati’s grunt and want a tear down of the motor to make sure it’s legal. Dovi played the last corner perfectly, he let MM through a bit and then used the grunt of the motor to get the win and leave MM crying.

Ducati has had the dominant motor in GP since its inception. What we are seeing now is that they are finally able to make the tires work and last on a consistent basis.

As much as I dislike Jorge, his situation during the race was unfortunate and quite suspect. WTF happened to his brake pads?

a few comments from dovi that were very interesting

1 its obvious the honda has made improvements and is better than last year. We all know marc isnt good on this track

2 zarco was in front because we let him be in front . that one blew my mind coming from dovi

3 there is nothing wrong with the yamaha as its been said for 2 years its stuggling. maverick had some blistering times and obviously zarco for 3/4 of the race but he picks the wrong front all the time. so that yamaha stuff is bs manufactured so if 46 doesnt win he has a bad bike if he does win oh it was amazing. stop the nonsense. rossi has no shot at the title.

unless MM shoots himself in the foot and starts throwing it down. it will be 3 in a row.

also love how marquez said he new he wouldnt win but had to try or he wouldnt sleep for a month. as with last year as long as he is close by the 1/2 point its over.
Thanks from Phl, cmh210 and Mrdcook2

Rossi actually spoke very highly of his bike post race. No bitching at all if I remember correctly. I'm sure he's glad to still be relative and competitive at his age racing against kids young enough to be his own, especially with a field this competitive. Those days of only 3 competitive riders are over. The field is pretty deep this season compared to the past.

Great races in all moto classes.
Thanks from cmh210 and able duc

i wasn't talking about what rossi was saying. im talking about the media. rossi was very entertaining in the press conference. the media has said the m1 is crap. they have said the suzuki is better etc. how about the 2 anouncers its amazing that with how bad the yamaha is that rossi is 3rd also etc.

Rossi reaction while Marc was talking about making the pass was pretty comical.
