MotoGP - control IMUs from 2019

Looks like Dorna are introducing a new rule so that everyone has the same IMU from 2019..

Thanks from Macattack

"So why does Dorna want to ban tailormade IMUs? Because it is certain that most factories and teams are bending the rules and using the software within their own IMUs to help the ECU software perform better. This is illegal but almost impossible to police."

some time ago people on this forum theorized this was going on - even though I believed it was true I still think its crazy .

Its probably 10x worse than they know.

i think that dorna has a device on bikes to limit or boost engine performance.

i also think that honda has a gyroscopic device in MM's bike that is spinning freely, but in case of a crash locks up and stabilizes the bike, allowing him to catch it.
