Motorcycle Magazine »Racing» Nicky Hayden (Ducati): "It's frustrating"

© Ducati - veteran Nicky Hayden currently finds it difficult to maintain the motivation
(Motor-Total.com) - After the first day of testing at Sepang, Ducati had paralyzed. More than two seconds behind the leaders, and the lack of new developments brought the team back to the earth.

On day two, the residue was only one and a half seconds, but Nicky Hayden had already recognized that the reduction of the backlog was not due to progress on the GP13, but rather was due to the better conditions.

On the third day of the residue increased again to more than two seconds. "We can not be satisfied, because we are far behind. We knew, however, that it becomes difficult, "notes Hayden against 'MotoGP.com'. The Americans had before the test recognizes that a new paint job and some new stickers mean no progress on the track.

"You need more than that," he insists disappointed. "As far back is to be frustrating. The team worked amazingly hard. We try to think positive and continue to stay motivated. We need to give the right feedback from the right, so that they can build us new parts, "says Hayden, the expected for the second Sepang test miracles.

"I do not know what we have here in the next Test. The next test is already in two weeks. It is thus not the case that we can build a new bike when we're home, "said the Ducati factory pilot, who was on all three days of testing, the fastest Ducati rider.

I think they will have disapoint times as well.... but remember this is the first season for a whole new bike, so it's understandable.
BMW S1000RR is already developed for 3 or 4 seasons, so is Honda 1KRR and Aprillia.
IMO these will be the top players next season.

Ducati will have to struggle with bike development!
