Yup, nice work considering he missed the 1st two days. The other guys up front all dropped a few tenths from their unofficial session times, so for Checa to be in that tight bunch from 2-6 bodes well. Badovini's not on the charts since he skipped the test to recover from his big crash and burn a few days prior.

Be interesting to see what the next day brings; so far they're under race pace records, but haven't gotten down to Checa's 2011 pole pace on the 1098R. Nice to see Suzuki back at the sharp end, too; they've had a couple of rough years all around, so good on 'em.

Now, to figure out how to watch this thing in Nascar land... :-(

proxy server and some UK TV stream might do the trick...

yeah, i hope the ducs might be able to run for the podium in the 1st year on the 1199. that'd be awesome!
