Removing the Kickstand 1199r

Good morning everyone,

I wanted to know if there was a quick fix - a trick - or a part needed.
I am prepping the bike for racing over the next couple of days and wanted to know someone had some insight onto what needed to be done.

Your insight is very much welcomed

Thanks !!

you just need the 2 spacers out of the DP fairing Kit and the plug

71319811A x 2
and
96580011A Electrical connector kit

Caution on the side stand plug. Some of the aftermarket plugs are cheap POS. Remember if that plug fails, your bike dies. It's one of the little gems Ducati came up with. Instead of a simple contact switch, let's use a sophisticated hall effect circuit that is voltage sensitive and ties into the MAP and QS circuit and disables the bike if it fails. Genius

This sounds fun at 150 going into turn 1

Indeed, whatever the one Mick1976 is using seems to be a good one. I think it is the BSD unit not sure. I'm using the stock plug with a magnet glued to the sensor. The stock unit is the only one I could get to work correctly with the Cordona shifter (QS,MAPS,Side Stand all share a common 5v circuit) as the strain gauge is voltage modulating to the circuit.
