MotoGP Rumour mill..Lorenzo to Ducati?

Interesting story on MotoGP.com about Lorenzo maybe switching back to Ducati and this could be why they haven't finalised Miller's contract yet..

Im not sure he would leave the Honda without a win or at least a podium but he wouldn't be the first rider to have swapped teams, found out that it didn't work and then swapped back..

Unless the Honda is so much more difficult and different to ride ?

I read this too. It does seem strange for Lorenzo to be unceremoniously booted from Ducati to be taken back so soon after his sacking like nothing ever happened.

I don’t think he can beat MM. on a bike that is developed around MM.

On a bologna bullet though...

At the moment Marc looks unbeatable. I'd be surprised if he is doesn't win every remaining race this year unless he makes an unforced error. He has finished either first or second in every race he has finished this year and now it looks like his brother has started to take the same medicine in Moto2 as well !

The Ducatis real strength last year was its top speed and the difference between them and the Honda top speed is negligible now. The Honda turns better and gets the power down better out of the corners, well, at least for Marc it does..

Wouldn't it be nice if Ducati got Miller to fill Bautista's seat

I think Miller would see moving to WSBK as a step backwards, like most MotoGP riders. Miller is getting better as he learns to manage his tyres, personally I think Dovi has had his time in the factory seat..

Jorge is getting old, he knows that it'll take too long to get used to the Honda, it would be logical for him to jump back onto a bike where he spent around 15months learning before he finally picked it up (or was it the tank addon?).
If true it might make for a good championship next year. Jorge has shown when he won on the the Ducati, he won by a substantial margin to the next Ducati.... which was Dovi. Looking at MM's latest win, Ducati is going to need someone just outright faster than Dovi to make up that massive gap between MM and Dovi, I think Jorge could be that guy.
