Ducati Comfort Seat review

I wanted to share my experience buying the comfort seat, after two weeks of owing a Panigale I decided I need it to buy a comfort seat because the stock seat is hard and slippery now when I went to the ducati dealer in brea and change the seat my self at the dealer, now the first impressions after I sat on my seat is that it was bit higher but it was softer now after I rode the bike with the new seat it was a noticeable difference
I was not sliding any more
my butt was comfortable
the heat under my butt went away enough due to the seat being higher
over all I am happy with my purchase of the comfort seat I highly recommended. here are a couple pictures.

Had a race seat on mine since I bought the bike, and I also bought the comfort seat... Needless to say the comfort seat hasn't been out of the box...

The race seat is comfy enough for me, and I've put some hours in on the bike, no slipping and looks so much better, so in my opinion, the race seat is far and above the best seat to go for, however if you are taller than average, possibly the comfort seat may suit..? Who knows...

Not sure about seat pimpin, since I would always want to retain the superbike look.

But seriously, are people finding the stock seat any more slippery than any other regular seat?

I'm still undecided on which to get.

Mat, according to ducatiusa they both add .4" of height.

Xbox, I agree. I don't think it's any worse than other stock seats.

What type of material did you use?

I'm pretty sure the race seat is lower than comfort and pretty close to stock, I think it is very comfy and grippy as hell! The only problem I could foresee is if it rains heavy will soak it up and you will get a wet ass but I think you would anyway, pros way out number the cons!

The race seat is raised almost as much as the comfort seat( I did not like it that high)... I took the material off the race seat and put it on my stock seat.

Ha that sounds a good idea! Don't think I could bring myself to ruin the race seat tho, I really have no probs with the height and I'm 5'11"
