TechSpec

I should have known better...

I've used TechSpec on a number of bikes and the adhesive always fails, no matter what. I will say that the customer service is pretty spot on because they will always send you a replacement free for the failure.

This time around, I couldn't get anything to stick. It appears that the edges had no cohesion.

This is one hour after application:

The same thing happened to b9009b twice. He eventually gave up and got Stomp Grips. I have brand new Tech Spec in the bag and I am sending them back!
Thanks from b9009b

2 words. Stomp Grips. Its a shame though cause tech specs cs is top notch. I was told by them this happens everyday with the panigales.
Thanks from Grayson

FWIW, I have had Tech Spec on my RC51 for 10 years and have removed it and reinstalled it numerous times and it still sticks like glue!

I couldnt even get my side pads to stick that well. They came back off. I have even ridden the bike yet!!

I wish I could just get a refund on it and move on but I already opened the package. Maybe I can get a new set and give them to someone who really cares for them.

StompGrip it is

Gray,

The second set are going to fail too. Why not ask for refund now?

Yeah they wont refund, secondly I ordered from revzilla and they advertise there "no hassle return" go and read the details of that. Even if I hadnt applied the TechSpec but merely opened the package, then they would have denied my return.

I understand Revzilla's policy but it's a shame that that Tech Spec won't refund a product and continues to sell a product when they know there is clearly an issue with certain applications.

I bought Tech Spec for my RSV4 from Revzilla and right outta the package I had an issue when I peeled the backing off it took the adhesive of the pad so I contacted Revzilla. They said you must be carefull when peeling the backing off and gave me a $20 credit towards new ones. I emailed them back saying WTF , I was careful and this is how you back products you sell? Revzilla then sent me a new set. Mine are still on but Ive had to press them down twice. I skeptical that they will stay on over time.
