i would venture to guess every issue with every dealer is different so im glad you get good service. i cant complain about my service at all. funny thing is the duc and the bmw is the same dealer. on another note do you really live in alaska? how is that? great in summer i would assume. how are the roads?

Given that I also am on the BMW site and have been for 5 years, you are wrong. SOOOOOO many posts about heat, vibration, "veering" quickshifter issues, overheating, camshafts scoring, conrods breaking and the list is endless. You need to brush up on your reading and comprehension skills.

Yep...Soldotna. I grew up here so it's home...has it's good and bad. As long as you're not in Anchorage...fewer people/traffic. Weather's cooler...nice when you guys are roasting. Winters used to be fun/snowy...now they've warmed up and are usually just a mess.

"The" road is crap. There really is only 1 road...very poor shape...dirty...congested with motorhomes. And...the cops don't have to guess where to patrol. And no tracks.

But...pretty! Go out and play without the dog on a leash...moose...bears sometimes....

MMC it's not an R for sure but can be turned into one for some money lol. But so far right as rain. There are things the Duc does that the r1 just doesn't and vice versa. I just wish someone from Ducati would respond. I've now called and messaged Ducati Italy about it directly since nothing has been said from DNA.

I'm only here because my S1000 had its Conrod gbolts falling out and BMW were so slow to do anything about it . I sold the Bike to a wildcard WSBK team that wanted to use the current frame they blew two motors that meeting .
I bought a Panigale instead

Wish bmw was a little faster so you wouldn't be here.

The Ducati certainly has its faults, heat issues, foggy dash, mirrors that are next to useless........although I would probably count the last one as a positive, I don't have to look at the those BMW headlights trying to keep up.
