We have had the sena 30K's for @12 months they work just fine but your better using bluetooth to talk we get probably 1.2-1.5 k's line of sight and about 1k moderately twisty roads on flat ground out of sight, real twisty in the hills @800-900m out of sight.

Thinks its about 13hrs talk time blue tooth and about 5hrs using the mesh would not be without them they are priceless I warn my wife on what track to take on corners due to debris etc and general road conditions as she has not been riding long.
Also in city traffic coaching her what to look for and aviodance techniques so you do not end up a grill ornament on a mobile lounge room.

Best to buy the double pack cheaper than singles they come with a fair bit of kit.
Have them mounted on a Shark, AGV & an Aria full face helmets

i bought mine for the sole purpose of listening to music and audio of the radar detector. works really well for that. i bought a single but ultimately had to buy another for the back seat passenger so get the multipack if it's cheaper.

eventually a couple of guys who ride with me got the same model and now we all talk during our rides. mostly just b.s. since i'm not as good a rider as they are, i can tell you the range is not that good; i get a lot of static when they disappear on the twisties.

sena has an app that will integrate your device with your mobile phone but it only works with specific models so if you want "unlimited" everything, check it out:

At this point most of the guys I ride with have purchased the 30K's, and love them, specially in a group setting! When I am alone I listen to music to drone the road noise out and fight fatigue/boredom, and it is awesome. I have even had lengthy phone calls on the 30K and the other person was pretty much unaware until near the end of the conversation I told them I was riding my motorcycle and they just assumed I was in my car speaking on the speakerphone and could hear the occasional motorcycle going past!!
