Brother, first glad you're still with us.

Second WTF was that CR smoking. Phil I read the post above from the CR, but sorry he should know better.I watched the video several times. Did he fall asleep?

Rule number one. If there is a Red Flag you get off the track as quick as possible so support personnel can enter the track. Throw your left arm up and slow down to safe speed. It's obvious viewing the video again that the rider in front rolled off the throttle. The CR should have been focusing on the rider in front of him, not the incident.

KO how bad is the bike?

*Look right before the impact. The rider in front rolls off the throttle. That's obvious, but look closely. Is that the pit in lane to the left. The rider starts to lean left like he may want to pull in. The CR is still at fault in my opinion.*

Glad you are relatively ok. I'm guessing the guy on the CR was a control rider/coach, very poor decision making on his part. Could have been a lot worse for everyone involved.

Yea idk, I just think it was a poor line choice regardless of what the rider did or didnt do. But whatever, glad I am here. Fox did contact me asking if they could use the video. I never replied, guess they decided to do it anyway.

The rider with the video was one of them……the others directly behind him. We exchanged lead positions quite a few times so I could evaluate their lines/braking/etc. The lap of the crash had a rider far in front of us go off track at the turn 7-8 area. Rider was on her knees getting ready to stand up when we were passing. I checked flag station near her and no action. Entering turn 9-10, nothing at flag station, or in the one on the apex of 10. As we were accelerating out to 11, the rider in front rolled off significantly (I thought he missed a shift or had a mechanical) and pulled toward the left into my planned line. I checked up and swerved to the right to miss him, but just caught the side of his rear tire/swing arm. I got launched at that point. From T7 -T11, there wasn't a flag viewable. None of the other riders saw anything either. The rider I hit could have seen the flag station at Start/Finish, but I think it was the white flag lap.…not a red flag. I'll find out more details.

I've done thousands of laps on that track and don't think anyone could have done much different when a rider in front slows significantly and changes line into your path. I've been thinking and talking to the folks that were there and all couldn't figure how to avoid that exact incident.

Very glad nobody else was seriously injured.

I broke a few ribs. It might be time to just buy a Harley. LOL"
CYA by the CR. I didn't see him hit a proper line during the entire clip. Turns in too early at :19, straightens up, turns back in. Everybody F's up at the track now and then, just admit it and apologize.
Thanks from MrKO

That was basically my thing. How about a "man sorry I F'd up, glad you are still alive, like for real" , a little bro hug (because I come from a sensitive generation) and keep it moving. Nothing, from anyone. I had tons of people from TPM contacting me to see if I was okay. People I had only met a few times. Coaches from TPM. Thats my org man, F N2. Way to much ego for me, shit and I'm from NY.
Thanks from Phl, iamlance, youngR and 1 others
