I recently purchased my dream bike a 08-11 hyper 1100. My chain is sagging and needs to be adjusted. I have owned only japanese bikes with the dual swingarm adjustments. I went looking EVERYWHERE online on how to adjust a mono swingarm chain. Any links or step by steps would be helpful.

Ok. The way to really do this is to remove the shock, adjust the chain to just snug on the tightest point of the SA travel, reassemble, put it on the side or rear stand, remeasure and that's the tightest it should be run. One thing I like about the V4's is the dual row self aligning roller on the output shaft. Way more tolerant relative to chain overtightening.
