I recently purchased my dream bike a 08-11 hyper 1100. My chain is sagging and needs to be adjusted. I have owned only japanese bikes with the dual swingarm adjustments. I went looking EVERYWHERE online on how to adjust a mono swingarm chain. Any links or step by steps would be helpful.

Don’t buy the tool from Ducati, it’s overpriced.
Ok. The way to really do this is to remove the shock, adjust the chain to just snug on the tightest point of the SA travel, reassemble, put it on the side or rear stand, remeasure and that's the tightest it should be run. One thing I like about the V4's is the dual row self aligning roller on the output shaft. Way more tolerant relative to chain overtightening.

100% don't need to remove the shock. Just need to find owners manual. Pretty easy.
Much easier to adjust having an eccentric cam, & a single sided swing arm, I ne er lend my tools to people, they generally forget to return them & don't look after them as I would, have you had any luck selling any of the white (3) Ducatis, you're getting there with your subscribers, have a good weekend .
