Hey guys, I'm selling my rashed Panigale. It has 2000 miles on it and although I paid cash and have a clean NY title- it will be stamped "salvage" due to an insurance technicality (insurance co. never came to inspect it.)! For most states it's an easy inspection to get it registered and re-titled for others no inspection needed.
I was hit by a car sideways and the bike fell and slid about 20 feet- it didn't hit anything solid but of course has rashed fairing. Most of the damage is cosmetic as everything seems straight....it will need the right handlebar and switches, engine case cover (no damage to engine) and small tidbits here and there.....the headlights have a small crack that goes under the fairing- so you barely see it when mounted properly....I glued it and it should be fine. I bought a NEW set of mirrors I will give to the next owner. Electronics are fine as everything lights up and dash reports no errors. All blinkers and LED lights work perfectly.

I've found every part I need to get it MINT but my family is giving me grief about keeping it and at this point I'm willing to take a loss. It would have cost me under $2200 to make it mint again.

I'm selling it 'as is' for a quick sale and moving on....I've gotten an offer for $9000 but am holding out for $10K....anyone interested?
Not looking for trades, just $10K cash/check.

if my 1098r sells in the next few days i'll have it

I have no clue-i'm guessing $600 but someone would have to come and crate it- not sure how that would get done.....but if you can figure out the logistics, it could work.

....I'm also just thinking of putting all new pieces on it and selling 100% perfect- but the price would be higher.

Got quite a few offers, thank you guys for spreading the word...

...I'm actually getting cold feet, hate to see it go!

George, read the ad;
Quote- "I've gotten an offer for $9000 but am holding out for $10K....anyone interested?"

Why would I take $6,500?

I now have 3 guys with $10g in hand waiting on my decision.....I may just keep it.....I'll keep the interested parties informed.......thanks to all those who have contributed.

Cheers guys-

I just can't see paying $10000 for a bike that will need $3000 + in Parts and at least $1500 in labor. That's not to mention the Title issue. Let me know when the other 3 fall through. My offer stands. Thanks.

George, no thanks, you're belittling the sale and didn't seem to understand the previous posts.........

....for someone to buy a cosmetic issue 2012 Ducati 1199 for the track for $10K is quite reasonable when the bike is an easy cosmetic fix and sells for $19K+ ~seems well within reason as evidenced by the 3 guys with cash on hand waiting to purchase it.

I politely ask you not comment further, thank you.
(No hard feelings~)

IMHO when someone is selling something the only replies should be of those interested in the purchase not to review or comment on price.

(Steve, hope your airbrush hand was not affected. You're a true artist. Glad you had not gotten creative on the bike yet.)

Thanks guys, the arm is healing quite well but not full strength....time will heal it.
Thankfully the "art" hand is fine and unaffected....thumbs up!

I was going on 20 years "accident free" until the guy sideswiped me, but such are the risks with riding.

I've decided to keep the bike and fix it, it's really not as bad as it looks and I've already sourced all the parts aside from the engine case cover....she will ride again!

See you guys out there.....enjoy your bikes!
Cheers~
