1199 clock

May seem niff naff, but can anyone who's already got their 1199, tell me, can you change the clock on the dash to 24hour format? Just one of those things that would bug me I think, and considering you can pretty much change everything else on the bike, would be a big shame if you couldn't change that!? :rolleyes:
 
Cant help you on that,but i do know what you mean about the "little things"
One of the things ive been thinking about is where the hell am i gonna put my welsh dragon stickers on it!
I always stick a couple of discreet welsh dragons on all my bikes, but there red and so,s the bike!
Its traumatic i tell ya!
 
That's a tough one! Can't say I'd have that problem as not Welsh! These Itailian's just don't think about these things us British need!!
 
Thats true mate! maybe now the Germans own it things will be better!
I might have to but carbon for it so i have something to stick them on to!
 
no it is not possible to switch to 24hr mode. :(
I read the manual.
In my opinion that ´s a pitty like the missing gas gauge. Even my Kawa Zephyr 750 had that.
 
I miss the 24h thing.
The gas gauge, I don't care much.
The warnings when splitting lane, though, I miss that too.
 
That's just ain't cricket! Not at all, especially when you pay best part of £20K!

Right, let's now focus on something positive just before I go into depression!
 
I've never had a problem distinguishing AM from PM. I feel I've been missing out.
 
Ha yes I can see where you are coming from there JK, but when you've been use to a 24 hour format for a very long time, and the fact this bike is suppose to have over a 1000 different electronical features I just thought it wouldn't have been that much effort, my S1000RR had it, actually did it? I've been without if for such a long time (waiting for this one!) that I can't remember... Anyway it's only a small point, that I had noticed, and considering 'Ducati' do pay particular attention to detail, which I have noticed, I thought they may have given you the option!?

The good thing about this cluster, the software could be altered easily in near future. i think for the next 1 year +, they will have some software upgrade.i'm just hoping

No hardware cost adder, just some engineer's man hours...
 
Not overly happy about the union flag on the welsh dragon!!.... but there are a few black ones which may look good.

Easy boyo:

Put the "all red" dragon stickers on the white part of the fairing of your Tricolore and put the whole flag sticker with red dragon on the white and green background on the red tank.

Simple really - but maybe the Italians amongst us will think you've just dumped some funny old red extinct animal onto their country's white and green :rolleyes:

OR ... just stick a s**t load of all sorts of red dragon stickers all over the windscreen :p

We can send a sticker over that says something like "Cymru Forever, even if it takes an Italian to build a Ducati" :D:D Would that work ? Best in Red ? :rolleyes:
