Hey guys I just joined this forum. I had a 2012 Red 1199 before that got stolen on 04/01/2014. Yeah tell me about it . it was on April fools day. The bike only had 4000 miles on it. Trying to move on now and looking into buying another 1199. It would be great if I can find an used one since I can't afford buying another new bike. But hey I will be around and you will see me often :cool:
 
I don't think they even knew what they were stealing. What did the HPD say? Probably not much.
 
That sucks dude! HPD is definitely too busy screwing prostitutes to help, but this is a small island and people talk. Be patient...

Hope you find nice ex demo reasonably priced ask the dealers when they are moving stock!

Hopefully u had insurance that paid for it right? If so at least u get a brand new bike, if not man I feel for ya that is really .......
 
Still in a process of dealing with the insurance company, but I had $1000 deductible so im not sure how much will I get!

Well let's hope they are fair with u. Let us know who the insurance company is and what they paid out so if they screw u or do u right at least other members no to stay away form them or join.

I figure they would at least pay the trade in blue book on the bike. Not sure what extras u have on the bike though.
 
Did you purchase the 2013 1199s that was on Craigslist? I believe it was being sold by a Marine.
 
Dang, you bought the one I looking to purchase in a week or two. Oh well, the search continues.

Let me know if you ran across any others during your search.
