Parts were taking out of a perfect running 1199 Superleggera motor with a few hundred miles 3 to 4 hundred to be exact. Boulder Motorsports did the work all professional done for a high end build for race bike that had 200k invested. These parts would be great for a 2013 - 2014 R The cams and Pistons are different then what is on 13 14 R. The pistons have fewer compression rings which is a race design that provide for less drag and reason for "slipper" description. The concept puts more horsepower to the rear wheels because of their efficiency. The cylinder liners are best to keep together with the pistons as a set because they "broke in" together.Always put in new rings which are only a few bucks. Also rebalance your crank is a good idea whenever replacing pistons to match the lighter pistons from 13 or 14 R. If you are lucky enough to own a 2014 Superleggera these would be a great when you need a fresh rebuild. Pistons alone cost $2200.00 new.
