Well after many moons of ....... around I finally got around to getting the beast tuned and dyno'd this week.

Just have a look at the HP and Torque at low revs. I must admit this exhaust wasn't designed for this bike, but .... me no wonder it was a ..... to ride.

I just went for a blast and it is a completely different beast. I'm so happy. I wasn't after more HP, just wanted a smooth ride and now I have it....dare I say it I'm finished with the 1199...no more to adjust/change/upgrade

Congrats you enjoy the new exhaust.
I would like to put the fe race exhaust on my 1299 too. May I know where you buy the mounting hardwares and the underseat cf shield? Heard that the exhaust kit requires using lots of fe stock parts.
Do you have to mod the bike or the exhaust to finish the installation?
Thanks

Hey Jock, did you put the under tail FE full system on? Is that without the cat ? Also was the graph with the system , before and after tune .

Hi mate,
It is the 1299 FE exhaust with silencers but the cats have been de cored.
With the dyno the blue line is initial base line as is run(1st run of the day)
Red line is final tune (last run of day 2)

Hi mate,
I will email you tomorrow the shopping list I sent out. Didn't modify anything. Heads up the CF cover is about $700AU

nice work mate, nothin like a custom map, enjoy.

Those wheels look a good match to the side covers, just painted jock?

Hi mate,
Thankyou. Got them done last year by a local wheel detailer here in Adelaide. I bought second hand set of rims of this forum

I just missed out on a genuine set of 1299SL rims but love that deep gold colour.
I gave him my spare clutch cover so he could match the paint, went away to work and returned 3 weeks later to pick them up. There not as bright as other brands and even in certain lights it has a olive green tinge to it. Finished them off with Motocorse Ti wheel nuts and a 1299SL spacer.

Looks awesome! So the stock 1299 exhaust fits the 1199? Would a stock 1299 exhaust offer any advantage on an 1199, sorry if its been asked I cant find anything on it.
