1199R and Panigale R frames are same or no

Are you sure about that or is the angle difference in the cup inserts? Are you saying they actually cast two separate frame/air boxes to get a different rake?

I think its a cup thing. I vaguely remember it being a thing in the xx99 crowd to change the cups for R ones to get the R geometry.

Removal Of Steering Head Lower Bearing
Hiya all.. Just changing the upper/lower frame steering head plates to 1199R to reduce rake by .5deg , i will get new bearings/seals i think for the new plates - make it easier to swap back if i dont like it. The main challange now is the removal of the bottom bearing case on the steering...

Thanks guys. I spoke to Jarelj and asked him same question, he replied that frames may be different due to tank mounting point 1199 vs 1299 though he did say he was not 100% sure.
Any of you guys would be able to confirm this!?
Reason for all these R frame questions is I want to buy frame, my bike is ‘13 so that year and ‘14 is direct replacement. I would be interested in Pani R frame if all mounting points are the same as 2013,14. If someone has what I am looking for please feel free to reach out.

Tank mounting is identical no difference. Only differences between 1199/1299 is triple clamp offset in the cups, swingarm/motor mounts and swingarm pivot geometry.
