Anyone willing to part with their 1199R wheels that are in good condition? Please let me know -
 
i have a set with 200 miles on them just off my new bike.

Standing offer. $1500 + shipping for 1199R wheels (sans rotors) in solid condition. Must be dent free. I'm okay with a few chips, but no dents.
 
They are. Except for the red stripe. I can't stand the red stripe. Especially on a white bike. Why couldn't they have just put the red stripe wheels on the R bike and the plain wheels on the S bikes? I'm looking into a pin stripe removal tool but thinking a switch is going to be cleaner.

Same here I can't stand that red stripe... Surprised no has figured out an easy way to remove it. Let me know if the tool your talking about works.
 
I don't think the tool is going to work. The red stripe is not a decal (like the "Marchesini" sticker) - it is painted on.

So the two solutions are to re-paint the stock S wheels or switch to R wheels.

I'm going for the switch.
 
True. I feel like I need to do it right though. I love the idea of the R wheels on a white bike. I've seen pics. Looks killer.
 
Why don't you just paint over it? It's paint.. But the yellow part is a sticker comes right off. Maybe even a q tip with paint remover first to lighten the red stripe up
