I'm bringing home #14 that's sat for the last 6 years. It belonged to a close friend who passed away at that time, and I'm looking to bringing her back to life. This list is just the guidline for parts im working off of, but im wondering what else to do besides the fluids, chain/tires, spark plugs, gaskets, fuel tank and lines that need to be checked and replaced. Im very familiar with japanese bikes, but what extra care should i watch out for with a Ducati? Any and all help is appreciated. Screenshot_20230710_223121_Microsoft 365 (Office).jpg

Why do you need all these parts, was the bike wrecked or did bike sit outside exposed to the elements!?

The left side fairing has a decent hole in it, along with a cracked headlight housing. It's been fitted with race fairings and lowsided a couple more times since. The list I posted is more of a guide for me to go off and not a shopping list. My two main concerns are about getting it running again and having all the fairings match in paint. They were taken off in 2014 and havnt had any UV exposure since. Il need most of the oem for the left, but im asking more about what I need to do internally and get it started again. Will the desmo valves hold up the same way a standard valvatrain will when it sits? I'm looking at new gaskets but that's as far into the engine I've planned on going so far. I'm decent with cars and japanese bikes, but as a passion project I want to make this bike 100% again

My bike was a garage queen for years before I bought it. Fluids and anything rubber needed replacing. Fork seals and steering damper and valve cover gaskets needed service in my case. Otherwise, it ran perfectly.
