1299 Cluster gauge problem. Need advice

Hello everyone, Newbie here on this forum. I would like to ask if any of you guys have a problem with the cluster gauge. When I turn on my bike the screen on the cluster gauge is working properly. Then when I ride it I noticed that the screen gets blurry kinda pixelated. any idea what's going on? It is a 2016 1299 base model. Any help would be great. Thank y'all!
 
I would check that connections are solid with it. If that doesn't fix it you are probably going to be ordering a screen...
 
Long story short, you'll need a new dash. I went through this in the early years of ownership.

I have a spare dash if you need one.
 
Whats a new dash cost? I feel bad for LoneWanderer and all the guys that got DOT4 fluid burns on their screens
 
It’s ....... That sucks. Is it stuck like that? Do all the warning lights do their thing when u first flip the key on?

the princess misbehaves sometimes. If you want a bike that will be flawless, you’re going to have to “downgrade” to a triumph Daytona. I’ve had my Daytona since 2015 and it has had 0 problems, issues or interruptions to riding. I always wondered why the Ducati forums were so much more popular and loaded with neat projects that no one would even consider doing on a triumph.

after buying my 1299 I figured it out and it’s cause these bikes are nothing but problems. That’s the privilege of ownership

So your 1299 is a 2016, how many miles are on it?
Maybe we could trade. I’ll give you my triumph and a bunch of cash, in return u give me your 1299. My dad wants one

Hey Kev, all the switches works it’s just that damn LCD flickering. It only has 5000kms so about 3000+ miles on it. And yeah it is a 2016 base model so out of warranty already. Purchased the bike from my friend that was sponsored by Ducati Philippines. “Ducati Racer” They gave him the V2 to race so he sold this to me. The bike never been downed or crashed tho. Oh I’m in the Philippines so it would be hard to trade hehe nice offer though. @DucatiKev
 
Just a little update guys. So I finally brought the bike to my dealership and they said it was a condensation problem. It is out of warranty so they said they have a 3rd party technician that can fix it for P3,000 which is $60. I said go for it and repair it. Duc said they know and worked with the guy for a long time so they know that he can fix it. Anyway, I will keep you guys posted after it is done. I hope they can fix it.
 
Just an update. Bad news. They can’t fix the dash and it needs to be replaced. Is there anybody here selling one beside rogue?
 
Update: The dealership did not charge me to check the problem of the dash. They are charging me 72,000 pesos which is around $1,450 USD for a new Dash. So I said I'll pullout the bike from them and I'll just buy a used dash. Luckily, @Rouge sold me his extra dash. Hopefully its a plug and play situation.
