1299 FE exhaust

Hey guys and gals.
So I had my 2018 FE for a year now and I have to say that is the best bike I ever ridden, except for two things. The sometime unbearable heat under my right leg and nuts and the sound (or lack of it ). I really miss the sound of the dry clutch combine with the Termi of my 1199 . Is there any way to make this thing sound better (not like the 1199 of course) without having to drop 5k and sacrificing the looks? Any ideas or experiences will be greatly appreciated folks.
 
well, dropping 3k is an option :D

I don't know if a decat exists for this type. It is euro4 that kills this bike
 
Desmo Racing sells a pipe that gets rid of the cat/muffler with an up map and a carbon pan for the final editions.

Any restrictions in the actual mufflers is you go this route? Or is this then like the full race exhaust?
 
thanks for the feedback. Has anybody tried removing the db killers of the tip of the exhaust? Like on the R or S exhaust
 
The race exhaust gets rid of the header pipe that loops under the seat. That's the only way your gonna reduce the heat. They can be found for about $4,500usd and compliments the bike like nothing else.
