1299 S Panigale Anniversario differences to S..

Hey guys,

Some places I read, that the Anniversario among other things, had upgraded electronics, which include the Cornering ABS. Is that true or false?

Also, did it come with the full Akra system? As in, not just silencers, everything, whole pipes from cyclinders with headers.

What else was in that 1299 S Racing Kit ?

If I recall, mirror block off, akra slip-on (not full), lithium battery, license plate block off, and yest upgraded electronics Evo

upgraded electronics and swingarms (shaved the part that used to get scratches from the chain) as its a model year 2017
the MY17 "standard" 1299s has the same upgrades.

extras were:
Paint job
golden rims
engraved/numbered top yoke
lithium battery
Akra slip ons (in adition to stock slip ons that came with the bike)
mirror block offs
undertail block for track use when you take off the tail tidy (basically its the base of the DP tail tidy)

And carbon fiber rear hugger and shock spring cover in addition to the carbon front fender the regular S gets.

I have the 1299s for 2016/17 updated with the EVO traction control data.
it is available as a Cost upgrade circa 400 euros if i remember.

i found it made a big difference to the TC and drive out of corners.

Hi, was you in Brno track before update and after update? If yes, was there time forward?

not Brno, but Oschersleben, and after a day on the bike i was 4 seconds faster, noticeably the bike drove out of the corners better and the TC interruption was less ( as per my DDA+ readout)

Did the standard S come with carbon heel guards too? I don't remember paying extra/ordering them for my Anniversario.

Yeah I thought I was forgetting something. Regular S does not come with the carbon heel guards.
