Where do you guys buy your 1299 street fairings? Have already checked eBay.
Looking for some Aruba paintings.

Thanks.

Thanks. Is it difficult to apply the stickers?

No, make sure the fairing area is clean and probably wipe the paint down with a little bit of denatured alcohol (drug store) to remove any wax build up.

Get a squeeze spray bottle (drug store) that sprays water and a small bottle of Johnson's baby shampoo.

Put water in the bottle and about two or three drops of baby shampoo in it.

Spray the bodywork area liberally with the water/baby shampoo mix, peel of the backing from the decal and spray the sticky area liberally.

Place the decal where you want it and start to squeeze out the water and the air bubbles from the middle. A plastic squeegee, Home Depot, wall paper section, works good for this, spray a little of the solution on the top of the decal to reduce the friction between the squeegee and the decal. If you get a big bubble, don't be afraid to lift the decal, you get about 3 or 4 tries with this before the decal will lose its stickiness.

The water will eventually evaporate out from between the decal and the bodywork in a day or so.

First location of North is not very helpful when you are asking a world wide forum for info on where to buy certain products.

I'll rule out South America and Australia.

So being as you are probably in North America, Europe or Asia, I'll give you some suggestions for North America.

My friend has one of the Chinese replica kits for his 1199. It fits very well, is cheap ($500-$600) with shipping, and looks almost as good as OEM, but knowledgable Ducati people will know it's a knock off kit.

Option 2 is to buy the Ducati Track kit ($850) It comes with all the same bodywork as OEM, but is white. It has extra pieces for track use that you will not need on the street. It comes with a complete set of fasteners.

You can then paint this or have it painted by someone like CCR (Connecticut Cycle Refinishing) to you liking.

This is what the kit looks like unpainted.

I can use this for track or street, when in track mode, I remove the headlight and taillight assembly and use the track pieces that come in the kit, along with the electrical block off's for the headlight and taillight, also provided.

Kit looks good and is nice for the price.

Exactly what I was looking for!! How long does it take you to switch between the two?

About an hour assuming you are switching out the headlight and taillight assembly for the blanks. Lots of fasteners, but nothing too difficult.
