Hello to all,

For starters I'm new here. I just recently purchased my first euro bike and now looking to tweak a few things here and there. I've already installed the panigale spacers and I feel I really need to cut this license plate tail off! I'm stuck between 2 different options for a tail kit 1 being the "obvious" choice which is the integrated kit from COMPETITION WERKES and my other choice is NRC's plug and play from rage cage. I'm hoping you guys can help me out, if you already have either of the 2 products please drop in and let me know how it's been for you. Leaning hard to rage cage because: A, it's cheaper and I can also get the mirror block off blinkers for the same price as the CW kit. B, I actually like the look of the lines under the tail lights and having separate blinkers from the break lights to avoid confusion. BUT I have a good friend who's the parts guy at a Ducati store and he said the RC is crap, the build is ...., feels/looks cheap and unfinished.

Looking for a helpful opinion...

I've had the NRC kit installed for awhile now, not really that impressed. The thing doesn't fit that snugly - and in fact is held on there with some double sided sticky tape, and a single long screw in the center. It really doesn't fit the lines of the bike that well if you look up close, but from a distance it's fine.

The hardware also sucks - I stripped out one of the bolts holding the license plate holder on, and had to remove the gas tank and pop up the rear subframe to drill the thing out. It won't be going back on...

That being said, I don't know of any other options that provide the same look. My bike is going track-only anyway.

i have the NRC rear on my 1199 currently. I have no issue with it and love it greatly, its bright enough for others to see it from a distance and also i like the plate being tucked away. Customer service is great also as i had a question about the NRC tail light (had a first gen) and they mailed me the latest gen with no questions asked along with the proper spacers too add the passenger pegs. (never installed).

I used to have the front LED mirror block offs but I removed them soon after install as on the street i like to see behind me other vehicle purposes.

had the NRC on the 1199, and it was a good, with some fiddling for fit, sold the bike as is, then get the 1299 and get the p&P NRC, and fit was better, i consider this kit due to the fact that they are visible in daylight, and a clean look, i would recommend this, i have my local shop order this and take advantage of the 10% discount i get with them

I have the CW kit and it's absolutely perfect. Works well. It's a bit of a ..... to install, but that's just because I'm not that great with these kind of things. Only issue is in South Africa the license is in a bad place because the size of the legal license is to big, so I got the Standard Fender Eliminator from them as well. Get the original Red plastic it just looks cooler. Enjoy!!!

How did you like the front indicators? Were they bright as the rear? Were they easily readable? Did they feel cheap? Did they mount good/easy? Appreciate the feedback

I appreciate everyone's feed back! My second purpose for this Panigale is for photography, so I'm trying to make the bike as sleek as possible.

for the purpose of having turn signals, it did a great job, They were bright and noticeable from the front and sides. They are plastic, so yeah, not as though they were solid. I also put felt on the back to keep it from scratching the cowl when installing and removing etc.

Mounting was easy, they go directly in the spot where your mirrors were with no issues.. they also looked clean when done.

Tying the excess wiring back so you would not see it was the hardest part.

Plastic [emoji58] that would be the only negative issue. Well not even really negative the whole bike is plastic lol, I assume they did that so the color doesn't fade in the heat as anodized metal would. So I guess that's a plus there. Again thanks for the feedback you helped push me to what I know I wanted in the first place.

The 1199 were plastic, well, polycarbonate. The 1299 ones seem to be Powder coated or brushed Aluminium... SO they may not be the plastic that they used to have on the 1199... Sorry i couldnt be the help you wanted in what they are made of for the 1299
