Id like to hear feedback on slipper clutch recommendations. Brands and whether to replace the OEM clutch basket as well? I read up on EVR and Suter. And if Im not mistaken when I googled wet slipper clutches I saw ducabike and CNC racing but didnt find it on their websites. Im asking about the clutch basket because when I rebuilt my Harley Street Glide motor from a 96 to a 117, a few months later I pulled the primary off to do some work and saw the stock clutch basket was cracked and if that thing shattered because of the 117 motor it would have blown through my primary and that would have been a horrible accident. Or is replacing the clutch basket on the 1299 overkill and stick with a quality slipper clutch. I only wish I could use the ducabike pressure plate and pressure plate spring that I have on the bike with the open clutch cover.

Ducabike makes decent ones; other swear by Yoyodyne; I put an STM on my Aprilia Tuono and never regretted it. I chose STM because that's what the Aprilia racing team uses, so I figured it must be decent.

You can get a Ducabike slipper for about $600; Yoyodyne and STM and EVR are all about $850 and up (but don't be afraid to haggle down to $650-700 and point to the price of the Ducabike clutch for leverage).
