This weekend I bought a 14t front sprocket for $35 and a master link for $7. I changed the sprocket myself. Problem solved. End of story... no wait! Forgot to mention that the change in character is EPIC!!!!! In town traffic speeds are now no problem, blasting out of slow mountain corners is a hand full. Best $42 I will ever spend on this bike, hands down!

I also put in HID light bulbs and ballast. (low beams) I rode it in the dark for the first time just to check them out and you can definitely see good with them. Truth is I only put them in so the head lights would be the same color temp as the LED marker lights. Silly I'm sure but it only cost about $30. So worth it to me. I left space to add two more for the high beams later.

Such fun, Yay!

That's great to hear bikeandnumber ..

I decided to go with a similar fashion but went 520conversion, with a 15 T front but 42R... I think both setups would yield similar results ...
41T as Ducati suggests maybe to ..... like on the streets or a short track I think..

Glad to hear the mods came out to your liking. I ended up going with the 41T rear and am quite pleased with the difference as well.

I haven't had an opportunity to see a Panigale with HID's in person but, based on the few pictures I've seen posted of other bikes with this modification, it looks like it makes a noticeable difference from the base model's stock headlight unit. I have received several comments from other drivers and riders regarding the LED's luminance; it seems the brighter headlights can be a very effective tool for increasing the bike's visibility during both day and night time riding.
