Yes, you can. You will have to buy the bracket for the 1299S model that holds the inertial sensor module along with the hardware, and the plastic shroud that goes on top of the headlight (about $90 total). You will also have to modify the wiring. Or there's a guy on the 899 forum that makes a plug and play kit.
Good thing you had something meaningful to post. Lord knows that his problem is solved now that you've contributed your 2 cents.
