on a mission to get rid of this Pilot Power I installed on my machine specifically to ride 1200 miles to & from Indy Moto GP...didnt want the flat spot on my much $ofter Supercorsa SPs.

Notice how effortless I hit 176 mph (with GoPro all in my tuck area) with plenty more revs to go...actually let off due to Tahoe looking like a Trooper lol.

Figure i'd have some fun getting rid of this tire, I have no desire to ride on. Though I pull wheelies on my SPs, I wouldnt normally do burnout on good expensive track worthy tires ;-). Dont try this at home, leave it for the professionals ;-). Enjoy, be safe and keep her up

p.s. I've always done power wheelies (even on my 600rr) and I know a lower speed clutched 2nd or 3rd gear wheelie would be a lot longer and look better on cam.

Cool vid mate, can't wait till mines run in and can make the most of the rev range!

You say comment at the end of that vid so I will...

Jeans at 172 mph?

All evidenced on film of doing that speed on the road... What's the speed limit there?

Man your roads are nearly as bad as they are over here.

Apart from that the video quality is good... And you are lucky you have the good weather!

Speed limit? That was a closed circuit sir ;) lol.

I'm very much aware of this possibly bring evidence...I try not to show my face or plates in any of my vids :-/

nice playful riding...could be more aggressive tho! :X

Ha, the tire is the explanation for that...you not comfy with the tire, you won't go hard..shouldn't anyway.

Watch some of my other vids

Man you must need to wear a gum shield. Those roads are a pathetic excuse.

Glad to see the Pani is still entertaining you :)

Yeah these roads aren't well kept, they get some harsh weather too...extreme summer and extreme winters. And my favorite of all roads, which was perfectly smooth, just got repaved with some gritty surface for whatever reason...nothing id wanna go down on lol

And for sure, the Pani is as much fun as ever...I think I've past that "it's brand new, I don't wanna wreck it" stage...it now feels like MY BIKE you know. So I enjoy riding the piss outta her, with all respect ;)

That's gotta be the best 1199 vid I've seen yet - well done Ducenzo!!

Only a week to go... I'm gonna wet myself and vids like that aren't helping LOL

Ducenzo assured me the videos were taken in Europe somewhere, not in the US. :)

Awesome vid, thanks for posting.

Nice Vid Ducenzo. I would post mine but I dont want to risk any issues with the authorities.

There is a good road along the river north of STL, topped out a Ninja on it @ 177 many years ago. I just hit the 621 mark the other day, so I will take the 1199 up there. Do you ever get on this side of the state?

Just be easy man, its hard to get a good tuck (and you'll need it) with a gopro on your gas tank.

in another vid i made I hit 172 and didnt even shift to 6th yet(tho 6th is mostly cruising, it pull hard still). This one, because I let off in 5th then got back on I hit 176 in 6th at only 9k revs..a whole 1k left to push. So clearly the bike will hit around 186 on the dash...how much that amounts to with a GPS, I dunno...some day ;-).

I used to head that way to club every 2 weeks back in the day lol...not so much anymore

Nice video, glad to see you are still enjoying the bike. Maybe I need to come over one state, no way I can risk those kinds of speed in backroads of rural KS. ;)
