Hey guys,

I picked up a 1199 tricolore recently with only 500 miles(ikr). Unfortunately it didn’t come stock it has a fender eliminator on it. Now I know the tricolore came with the DDA+ and the connection is supposed to be in the tail but with the fender eliminator it’s not there only the wires for the lights are there. Any ideas?

Cobra,
The DDA unit is mounted/wires run in the upper front fairing. The DDA unit itself mounts just in front of the speedometer unit, down in the U portion of the windscreen. It is able to be seen if the bike still has a clear windscreen on it.

John,
Thank you. I found the GPS unit in the location you described. See picture. I’m still curious where the port is that I can download the data from the dda module. Any more information would be great. Thanks.

Trace further to the front. Do you see the 'black box'? Did you look under seat? Mine is where my tool kit is. It's the same connection used for diagnostics.

Alright I found it tucked away under the seat. Thanks guys. Now the next problem is sourcing the dda module/dongle that collects the data for download. Anyone having one laying around they want to let go for cheap
