WOW! Such an amazing looking bike; more bike than I would ever be able to "use" on the street or track, but who wouldn't want this in the garage?

Absolutely gorgeous. Love the new lines on the R. Looks like a + in every direction.

I'm assuming the 2015 R comes with the red striped rims rather than the all black like the one in the bottom photo.

What are the differences between a 2013 R and a 2015 R?

More than likely the price will be higher for a 2015.

Would it be worthwhile to trade a 2013 R for a 2015 R?

Please advise.

Thank you

2015 has:
-Engine specs same/similar to the SL
-Electronics package from SL
-No race cans shipped with bike
-slightly revised geometry

"worth it" is a personal call depending on your goals, wants and needs.

2013R vs. 2015R

- Similar engine internals as the SL
- DQS Downshift
- Hazard Lights
- IMU (ABS when Leaned, etc.)
- Li - Ion battery
- Wheelie control
- only comes with homolgated Akro exhaust (SL had the race kit with it)
- Slight front fairing and tail changes

- NO LED headlights and No electronic suspension

There will probably be more to see when it comes out.

$31K vs. $34K

Seems worth it.. More tech, more power, etc..
I'm certainly thinking of getting one.
