Possibly running the Skyhook suspension. They need something to compete with the HP4's DDC.

I hope they are testing the exhaust for a different bike on this test mule. Looks like a SF or Monster exhaust.

Heat shield on the rear pipe looks different as well. The headers look titanium.

That's the Japanese market version of the current bike (exhaust required to meet strict noise / emission laws). I think it was in MCN last week.

Smells so fscking fake, is not even funny.
Ducati would not put such exhaust even in their lawn mower :D

Lol that exhaust will probably make more power than both Termignoni or Akra. The underbelly design is just a look good/work bad design.

Has there been any other word on the 2015 R? My base is selling next week and the plan was to pick up the R. My dealer is telling me that they aren't hearing anything about a 2015 R, but I wonder if its just because they are wanting to push the 2014 that they already have on me.

Who knows now, WSBK changed their rules slightly to the point that major upgrades may not make as much sense as they did when it was supposed to be Evo class rules. Which is the homologation package that the R falls under.

There are a couple people on the forum who may know something more than just rumors. There is one in particular that I'm sure does, but he ain't talkin'.

I honestly don't expect any big changes, I mean yeah it would be great if there was, but even if its the same just a newer model year, then it may be worth it to me to wait.

But my dealer emailed me today and said " I did speak to my rep last night and he said he has not heard anything about a 2015 1199R" I really think he's just trying to get me to buy the one that he has, which I may be ok with, but if I knew for certain if there was going to be a 2015 it would give me more negotiating power.

Sorry to burst the bubble, but dealers don't know squat about upcoming models until we go to the dealer show in the Fall, and often then the new model info is under embargo for a period of time until we can actually talk about it, usually after the EICMA show in Milan in November. I know common sense would dictate that dealers and Ducati North America know all about the upcoming models well in advance, but it's simply not true, that is all closely-guarded information in Bologna and they never want future model information to impact current sales, so they have a very vested interest in keeping it hush-hush. Think of it this way, it would be the same as walking into the Apple store right now and asking the pimple-face at the Genius Bar about the specs of the upcoming iPhone 6. ;)

I see no major changes. Maybe full carbon fairing, wheelie control on bar like the SL, or a replica paint scheme., and possibly an akra full exhaust. That"s my guess.
