Sorry if this is a repeat question..... anyone know if I buy a V4R fairing set (front and side fairings), would they fit my 2019 V4S?

Thanks.

I got my Puig windscreen fitted and it is working well for me. Tall and tinted, Highly recommend. Get some Pro Ti bolts to fix it in place

You should definitely upgrade. The widebody gives you an excellent wind bubble and looks sick. What is pricing for all the plastics from Ducati directly?
The Superleggera wings from V4evo have an option to add OEM side fairings with that purchase for an extra $1,200 for both side fairings (and they send them with the SL wings installed.

you should do a custom wrap job paint scheme. My plastics were all beat up with rock chips after just a few hundred miles

Yes, it will.

As mentioned you need a small adaptor for side panels (you might be able to DIY also since it’s a very simple part)

New windscreen and I guess new lower panels, but not sure.

Did the conversion on my 2018 you will need an adapter for the side fairing, its really just a small L-bracket, and a windscreen. No need for lower panels or anything of the sort. It is quite simple and so much easier to remove the fairings for maintenance.

I have a set of new oem 20 V4R fairings if anyone is interested
How much $$ and which fairings are you including?
OEM fairings are likely the best solution but people who have used MotoXP seem to like they’re fairings. They’re a bit thinner but they line up well, the paint is high quality and the price is right

I've never used MotoXP but I have a few friends who have, and they're probably the best aftermarket fairings I've seen. Virtually every other fairing company has fitment issues making you have to muscle them into lining up, letting them flex over time into actually fitting properly. MotoXP fairings line right up and look pretty good. Main issue is color matching. If your bike has seen some time outside, the paint has definitely slightly changed. Swapping out just the front and side fairings could lead to a slight color mismatch between them and the belly pan, regardless of if you bought OEM or not.

It's exactly like Gts89 explains. I also ride a 2018 V4 with the DP V4R bodywork. Fits perfect and easy to install.

So I bought a set.... anyone have a video on where the brackets need to be installed?

I'm assuming that is on both sides.... you wouldn't happened to have a "finishing" product image.

MUCH THANKS!

Sorry, I'm using race fairings and the bracket is different from the OEM V4R. But yes, it is the same on both sides. Here's what my bracket looks like. Same concept, just a different mounting style.

I’m going to purchase a V4S this year. I really like the fins and wings on the 20-21, but the dealership has a 2018 with a full akra and a few other goodies installed for around 20K.

I’m starting to feel like it might be worth buying that, ordering the 20-21 upper fairings.

is there much noticeable difference in the mechanics/ capabilities of an V4S 18 as opposed to a V4S 20-21?

Their “race” fairings might be a bit thinner, but they told me the “street” fairings are unpainted oem sourced directly from Ducati.
