That front end does not fit the look of the bike. Designers worked from the back to the front n ran out of ideas on the front end. I'm sure it's a great bike but they coulda done better cosmetically on the front end.

Saw on the news tonight that in Italy, the Emilia Romagna region where the Ducati factory is located is one of the areas in lockdown with no movement in or out of these areas until April 3rd.
Could mean a delay on our bikes gentleman.

The quarantine doesn't affect manufacturing as of yet, just leisure trips and events like weddings, races, and even church services. Also shipments by sea for next month should be way under way. However these preemptive measures to protect the Italian elderly should be respected.

I was just poking around on the forums and I guy put this up.

"At my company we just went over our BCP (Business Continuity Plan) one of the things we discussed are materials we will need and the time they will take to be placed in service.
They talked about anything coming from contaminated countries will sit on the docs for up to 3 weeks"

I hope we are still on track but this virus is getting crazy for sure. Both my kids collages have closed until further notice!

If Ducati was able to ship on time for the U.S as promised. The shipments left on Feb 27th thru March 5th from the Genoa terminal and will arrive in New York on March 20th or 22nd. Then over to U.S. Customs for 3-5 working days. Then dealer delivery will happen as promised. However two things can change this. First, if Ducati wasn’t ready for April delivery because of manufacturing issues. Or secondly, the politicization inside the U.S. of Covid-19. With 60 million sick, 300,000 hospitalized, and 18,000 dead in the U.S. of the Swine Flu back in 2009. One can only think that with 1,400 sick and 40 dead in the U.S. from the coronavirus (Covid-19), that the latter is more likely true..

When we get our Streetfighter, and we will, think about the big grin we will have:)
