This is the exhaust i want: S1-GP Exhaust

I know other exhausts like the 4uscite, and other undertail exhaust by termignoni fit the 2021 and have been confirmed to fit the 2022.

Is there a difference in the headers positions or geometry of the bike that would make it not fit? Also, I know since the 2022 is euro 5, it has 4 lambda sensors, where the 2021 is euro 4 and only has 2 , so how would this affect the fitment? (could i just plug up the lambda probes?)

This is my first ducati, Ive never had this much trouble figuring out exhaust fitment for my Japanese bikes.

there are a variety of different shaped header pipes across the years of Panigale V4. In short they will all bolt to the bike and can be connected with the right combination to a exhaust. Its just some are a better flow than others. The position of the engine and frame and even ancillaries hasn't changed.

you could always get the extra lambda bungs welded on to keep the 4 lambdas(which I would do, have done, anyway so they are there) or remove them if you go down whichever tune route, there are for and against for each way.

it isn't just a case of bolting something on.....its about fitting it correctly both achievable but fitting correctly would get my vote..

On another note, is that exhaust available I know SC were struggling to supply....😱

IIRC, the only header which is different is the rear. The SL and R have a different loop under the seat which is made more obvious by the shape of the heat shield. The SL has a different heat shield from the R as the carbon fiber swingarm has different dimensions. If you'll note, the right heel guard is built into the rear header heat shield.

The other difference is between the EU4 and EU5 bikes. I think EU5 started in Europe in 2021, whereas the US was still EU4. Difference here being number of O2 sensors and I'll speculate that EU5 is the SL and R type rear header just by the shape of the heat shield on the EU5 bikes.

All that being said, I suggest getting with a tuner to make sure whatever system you decide to go with that you can get a tune for it for your particular model year bike. I have no reason to think the S1-GP exhaust wouldn't work, and if not for availability, I would have ordered one. Our resident tuning expert @DeussenEngines said it made the most power of any system he tested. I used him for the tune on my bike and couldn't be happier.

cool, thanks for clarifying that!

yes i think they have 1 in stock at the moment, the rest are made to order, im very unfamiliar with 'wleding lambda bungs' . Do you think that is something Ducati dealership would be willing to do?

they may do or they not be interested as its not Akrapovic/Ducati.....

Have you not a got a reputable and recommended independent motorbike mechanic in your area maybe even a Dyno that will sort your fuelling out? Im sure they could facilitate....

I doubt it. Most dealer mechanics are part changers for warranty claims. You should be able to find an automotive fabrication shop in your area who does TIG welding. It would be a simple job for them.

ok, but if i plan to flash the ecu (which i will) then i dont even need to screw on the 02 sensors on right? i just leave them disconnected?

You might find there are four lambda ports already in the exhaust? I know a termi d200 for a 21 my bike had 4 already that gives you the option.
I know probably the best dyno tuner in the Uk would keep the lambdas even if the software like woolich said you can remove…
I guess there is a choice you make on type of exhaust, set up , type of tune and set up.
If as you seem to state you are not too well in the know then you’ll have to rely on others for what you are going to commit to. Keep doing your research first, who will be fitting it? As what you fit on and or remove also comes into the equation.

yep, im gonna have to look for a tuner near me and then talk with them because woolich needs to be tuned on a dyno :/ oh well
