Went for a 250mile rip and everything was fine for the most part, temp was ok but every once in awhile I would quick shift and the bike would shift funny but nothing alarming. At the end of the night I noticed fuel light came on and I made it about 25 miles before the bike ran out of gas. I walk of shamed it about a 1/4 mile to a close by station and filled it up. As I pulled out of the station, the bike surged and bucked HARD for about an 1/8th mile then cut out. Cranks but not start. I thought for sure I burned up the fuel pump or sucked up junk from the bottom of the tank but Here's where I'm at currently.
Fuel pump primes and holds pressure at 42psi
Fuel tank flushed and filled with clean gas
Injectors and fuel lines cleaned and blown out
All fuses are good
New Battery
Air box clear
All fluids topped off
Did evap delete to no affect (reinstalled)
Only other things I can think of are the DQS system and the crank position sensor.
It's just odd to me that I ran out of gas and something other than fuel delivery system is preventing this thing from running.
