Yeah, last lap was trying not to crash, whilst keeping some pace, full of mistakes.

Yep, Michael Neeves from MCN, he was going really well.
 
Great riding Rick, pushing the limits of grip can be what it takes to get to the top. Is there any alternative to the gear position sensor in the aftermarket?

Unfortunately not :'(

Although, the one on the 2019 bikes is different, and I think potentially better. I fitted one, but it didn't read the correct gears. However...the dealership can do a relearning procedure...so there's hope!

(haven't watched the video yet, still at work) Michael Neeves is campaigning an S1000RR right? I remember you mentioning in a few of your vids that you'd yet to beat your old S1000RR times on the V4R at some of these tracks. Interested to get your take on how the 22 V4 base stacks up against the S1000RR now.

Lol! Hope you enjoyed the video! 22 V4 base bike is unbelievable! Handles so good, brakes are amazing...and that motor!

The V4R engine is more visceral, intense and enjoyable. But the 1100 is definitely more effective.
